Musically trained in Valencia, Madrid and London, in 2007 he wins his current position and become a member at “Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid”. HE ALSO USUALLY COLLABORATES playing and recording with the most important orchestras and ensembles on the national scene and some other abroad such as Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, Atlantic Symphony Orchestra (New Jersey), Firebird Orchestra (London) or Orpheus Sinfonia (London).

AS A TEACHER he has given masterclasses in Spain, France and Sweden. Between 2011 and 2016 he is in charge of percussion department at “Higher School of Music Education Katarina Gurska”, where he has organized several summer courses, festivals and conferences, working with some of the most important soloist and teachers in Europe.

CHAMBER MUSIC... Jaime is a soloist of Plural Ensemble in Madrid, with whom he has played the most significant repertoire for ensemble from the 20th century as well as a big a number of premiers.

AS A SOLOIST, it can be included performances with the Brodsky Quartet of London, with whom he recorded for the label NonProfitMusic, and his concerts as a marimbist of FlamaerLux Trio, appearing at several tours in Spain, France, Luxembourg and Japan. He has also played for the “BBVA Foundation” at its “Solo Concert Series” in Madrid, and he has premiered the Concert for Five Percussionist and Orchestra by Carlos Cruz de Castro at the National Auditorium in Madrid.

 

HIS COMMITMENT TO TODAY’S MUSIC led him to create in 2010 the ensemble Grup MixTour together with the conductor Pablo Rus, specializing in bringing contemporary music to the “non-specialized” public. In additioin, in the last years he became a member of “Nuevo Contemporaneo”, a duet where percussion, electronics and video projections join together to offer a magical experience.
